2 Hearts Are Beating Together...

...I'm in love, Wooh! Any Kylie Minouge fan (I'm aware that tis' a rare thing in the United States!) would recognize those lyrics from her comeback hit, "2 Hearts," which stands as one of my favorite Kylie songs. Why, you ask, am I rambling on about a song? Because, I will tell you, there will be two new stores on our virtual world, most likely, by Monday.

The first of one, of two, will be most likely a promotional store (similiar to the "Nim's Island" shop) which will include movie releated wear and/or extras. "Taking 5" is described as 'Highschool Musical with a twist...' so I'm not sure what that was suposed to mean. Didn't HSM already have a twist? I mean who would have ever thought that Sharpay would have ended up being such a sweetheart and that Troy and Gabriella (Troyella) would wind up together? Not me, I didn't see that coming! Anyways, the movie is slated for a September 9 DVD release, so there is no doubt that Stardoll will turn itself into a promoting machine (i.e. Picture This!, Camp Rock, and The Cheetah Girls: One World)over the next few weeks, leading up to and after the release. I'd expect free items, lots of popups, and annoying offers to buy the DVD. That sounds about right.

The second of the two stores seems, hopefully, more promising. "Heidi Klum for Jordache" looks like it's going to be hot! Heidi Klum has been Jordache Jeans' spokesmodel since the 2007-2008 Fall Season, and has starred in two infamous steamy print ads for the designer. Below, Heidi rocks the sexy fitted denim in a bubble bath gone sexy! Heidi, you either in or you are out, and honey, you are SO in!

Deja Vu, is not a four letter word. At least, not in our particular situation. The Scarlet Johansson Army Clothes have been re-released along with another cute new mini-collection. Over all, I think that Vicky.Stardoll (or Isobel.Stardoll) did a great job finding the perfect clothes for this new collection.

The maid-bag is total hotness, and exCUSE me but the other clothes had a total wow factor. But, we all have learned deja vu can be bad. The movie and previous Stardoll collections. Let's hope, the new doll to be released tomorrow fits in with the new iridescent looks. I'm just glad that "Back to School" shit is over. I'm proud to say (at least for now) STARDOLL DESIGNERS, you aren't complete fuck faces. You're at times (most of them) horrible at your job. So people, let's be thankful for what we have all though we may at times seem ungrateful.

As you may have noticed, this weeks edition of "Style Stars" has taken more time for me to put it together then normal. By no means was it because I could not find fashionable and fierce outfits, but it was because so many of them seemed uninspired and 'trendy'. There is nothing wrong with being either of those, but I am looking for fresh, creative, and trendsetting styles. These three lovely ladies created three very different looks that all had one thing in common: uniqueness.

Gemma_W, arguably the most fashionable user on all of Stardoll (I've yet to see her in a fashion "don't") has continuously caught my eye with her daring, bold, and chic ensembles. This one in particular is no exception. While the outfit is both fabulously ferosh and originally beautiful, but it is Gemma's small personal touches (like the feathers on the hat, or belt and scarf combo) that make her fashion choices memorable.

Fierce would most likely be an understatement for the outrageous outfits that Miss Fever_Cole endlessly creates. She is the epitome of the word original and has always taken her looks a step farther then most users, but it ALWAYS works in her favor. She, unlike many, took this Vivienne Tam dress and injected her own personal style into it. From the funky hat, to the red scarf and gloves, this ensemble scream Style Star!

Gothic? Maybe, just a bit! Who doesn't love that Wednesday Adams look, though? Hazy_Cloud121 is normally a bucket full of color, funkiness, and fabulousity, but this outfit is a complete polar opposite. That being said, she pulls it off flawlessly. She was has always been on the frontier of layering and this look is the perfecto example of how you do it right.

For someone who has never experience something as amazingly crazy as being put through that emotional roller coaster, I can only guess the happiness that Stardoll's most infamous Gossip Bitch (I mean that in the BEST of ways) is feeling right now.

Her position at The Daily Tabloid was terminated after she leaked evidence connecting "Elite" user BeverlyHillsHei (Ashley) to Daily*Tabloid (Anna). While some remain skeptical about the story and the evidence that LPD presented to Fag_Puff (Dan) which led him to publish the story, they cannot deny that LPD may be the most (As Perez, herself, put it) diabolic "evil genius" of them all!

Change is a good thing right? NO, I hate the new Stardoll layout. Those buffoons could have done it gradually but no. They had to give it all to us at once. I'm what some may call old fashioned (plus I have the mouth of a sailor...), so maybe I don't apreciate modernism and change but I don't think it's possible for anyone to LOVE the new format.

Ooh, but, maybe we're in luck. Stardoll has added yet another editor. Vicky.Stardoll, who may I add wrote a suprisingly adequite article about Madge and Guy Richie. I liked her medoll, except for her outfit (bleck!) and I sorta liked her dressing room in her suite. Other than that, Stardoll is not only getting worse, but it's copying other websites! What a shame, it was so much better two months ago.

Fashion Fixation.

Okay, so there's a buzz going around about the new Hot Buys. High fashion-yes, mediocre- double yes.

This is why. Don't get me wrong they are cute as can be (what bitch couldn't agree?) and of course designer but they lack in creativity. Big woop, staple shoes from Chloe, statement necklace from Burberry Prorsum, and fierce jacket from YSL. So, how is this mediocre? The designers at Stardoll didn't try. You people can say "Anthony, you're pushing the limit, they're completely and totally "ABFAB" I respectfully disagree. All I'm asking for is creativity. Choose something completely out of the ordinary like a Philip Tracey hat from Marc Jacobs and one of the slouchy velvet dresses. As I said, Marc Jacobs is calm glamour, with out a huge concept that every one is supposed to shove down their throat and shit out better than before. All I'm saying is it's the same designs with different aesthetics.

Bittersweet Fate...

I know that alot have missed Ellie, while others have wanted her gone-- for good. I for one, wanted her back, and obviously many people's wishes where granted! The fashion phenom, is back but with bittersweet news of her close friend's passing. It's to bad, she wasn't on holiday.

I'm sure that the last thing on earth that Perez, Queen of the Stardoll Blogosphere, would want for me to be doing is quoting Britney Spears as I write this ode to her. Try as I might, she never gave into my constant Britney Spears love. That all seems so unimportant as Stardoll prepares to go into mourning for one of the most amazingly talented, creative, and wonderful members the sight has ever seen. No, she has not died, or committed Stardoll suicide, but she has run her virtual life down and will soon be embarking on her own journey into the real world. That's right, the girl is going to college.

Looking back, it is becoming more and more obvious that Stardoll will never be the same without her. She is a bright and colorful writer who always managed to put a smile on my face as I read her commentary on such gossip stories as CRAZY (Runway.Fashion) and Teale and Fakeshake3's battles during those dark days of the Stardoll loophole. Perez was more then just a writer to me. She was a true friend who helped me through countless drama and even helped me and inspired me to create the blog you are reading.

While she changed my path on Stardoll, she made an even bigger impact on our virtual world then she would ever guess. Her one woman army of wit, cleverness, and amazing Paint skills (it is much harder to write the word "Bitch" on a photo then you think!) single handily brought down the Monarchy that once ruled over Stardoll known as "The Elites" and inspired users to express their originality and create their own personal style. Her no-fear posts intimidated Stardoll's Elites and drama queens to the point where there is not one user who doesn't fear having their dirty laundry hung all over her blog. The past months have been so drama free due to one person and one person alone, Perez.

Whether or not she realizes Stardoll will forever be a different place then it was when she started out because of her undeniable charm and lovability. Perez, words cannot begin to describe the things I feel for you. HOLY SHIT! I love the new Vivienne Tam collection. I fainted, threw up, and cried when I saw the collection. It is a whirl of colour, textures and fabrics. It seems to have the sparkle of Proenza Schouler, the detailing of Chloe, and the ABFAB lace of Prada. It is rare, now'a days to find something so, shall we say marvelous on Stardoll . My guess, is........ NEW DESIGNERS!

Anyway, it seems to remind me more of DKNY's First Collection, in more ways than one. There is colour, print, and details. Stardoll completely fucked up DKNY's last season which had so much potential (but, I still bought it. It was WAY better than the Upper East Side collection. *shivers a little* I don't want to think about that.... :()

The shoes, aren't the best. The boots are okay, but the heels aren't the most remarkable for the reason of lack of detail. That's what they could have used, and a bit more realistic positioning. No one's foot curves like that. My fav piece, is the Jacket, Gold lace dress, and Black lace dress with the cute next and swirls of colors. (I have it on! :)) So, what is your because, after all it is all that matters to you, and in some cases others! Stardoll, has finally took the right approach to high fashion, beauty that is deffinetly un-preturbed by the hindrances of modern trends.

The line is truly a breath of fresh air as it seems Stardoll's fashion atmosphere has been polluted with that hideous "Back to School" line that has the potential to be so ABFAB. This Stardoll Real Brand's sequel collection is just as colorful, lovable, and Asian-inspired as Vivienne's wonderous Summer Ready-to-Wear line. So, although this is rare said, WELL DONE STARDOLL. A week after the faithful (and somewhat frustrated) readers of this very blog challenged me to go on a Stardoll-wide manhunt for creative, colorful, and chic ensembles created by NON-Elites, I searched far and wide. The task at hand was by no means easy; most of your suggestions led me to stylish users who played it safe. While I was greatly impressed by some, it just wasn't the look that was perfect for Style Star. After working a bit harder, I found three very unique outfits without even trying to!

Amazing suite? Check. Awe-inspiring Star Designs? Check. Original and extraordinary style? Check. Nephthy's is, by all means, one of the most amazingly talented girls on Stardoll. She is a true stylista who can take ordinary items and transform them into something incredible. In this, as she described it herself, "Bumble Bee" couture gown, she shines and displays the qualities that make her a Style Star in my book.

There's something about Mary. Yes, that was an incredibly lame movie title joke that kind of works here. WriteMaryCat has style and proves it every day in her off-beat and funky threads. Her look is a mixture of Artsy-folk and Back-to-School chic. Every detail translates flawlessly; from her fitted plaid skinny-jeans, to her folk fedora, this outfit screams style perfection.

The first gossip story this blog ever wrote (1 month ago - we're practically blog-virgins) involved this dazzling diva. Sure, a lot has changed in that short time, but her sense of style has not. It is featured prominently in every piece of fabulousity this creative chica dons throughout the week. In this particular ensemble, Puccapo (Olivia) cleverly balances the simplicity of a simple white mini dress, with the stunning detail that the accessories (including a few layers of belts and a pair of Greek sandals, a MUST have) to create the perfect outfit for a breezy summer night in Greece.

That is why Lady Lovelace's silk headbands are all the rage in our virtual world.

So, as I slowly put together this weeks Style Stars, I knew for certain that this funky Super-Superhero outfit would have to be given proper recognition. Where in the World is Perez?

The talk of Stardoll at the moment is the dissapearence (more like an absense) of Stardoll's most celebrated gossip blogger PerezStarGossip from her own "Going Away" party last night. Stardoll's Elite, B-Crowd, Wannabes, Cool Asians, Sexually Active Band Geeks, Art Freaks...wait, wrong movie, all gathered in her guestbook and waited hours for the Devilishly Dishy Diva to show, but she never came.

I hope everything is okay with her, but I'm sure that she'll reschedule the bash before too long. So, we'll keep y'alls posted on any details.

It's the end of the most celebrated user-created magazine on Stardoll... for a few months atleast! That's right loyal STYLE readers, after a few months without a new issue due to the release of Model-Selena's sister magazine teenSTYLE, Style herself has confirmed the temporary break. In a statement issued to members of STYLE's club, she had this to say:

Reprise About Tampons

Why should the young people of Stardoll not be about to say "fuck, shit, ass, cunt" and so on, but willingly join a club about tampons. Honestly, no one cares. I mean, I'm pregnant with Britney's baby (running joke) so I'm moody, but still. I said "OH, SHIT!" when I first read it in our blog. Lets talk about the mellifluous wonder of tampons all over Stardoll, a Children's website.

Seriously it didn't make me mad, but if you're so concerned why don't you stop whoring our once Utopia of "Fame, Fashion, and Friends{" out to tampons, dumb straight to video movies and GET SOME PUREOLOGY, Callie. I'm serious, I'm damn sick and tired of it.

I once said this was my favorite website and that all my friends should join. Now, it's honestly a joke. I only stay for my friends (and the baby, so it doesn't grow up with a single parent). The Gift that Keeps On Giving

As if getting that wonderous (horrid) monthly gift (sent from hell) wasn't already embarassing or awkward, enough, now it seems Stardoll needs to make a fun and exciting new club about it! Yay!

In another attempt by Stardoll to sell their fashion souls to the world of advertising and promoting, they have decided to appropiately (and by that I mean, why not advertise tampons to a bunch of preteen girls who will most likely be getting a visit from Mother Nature anyday now) promote TAMPAX Pearl. I must say, even as Stardoll continues to become more and more "corperate" and less down-to-earth, user friendly (fun and exciting), it's really sad to watch them slowly destroy the things I once loved about Stardoll.

Oh well, at least there is free stuff...
